    Intercropping experiments with chili, maize and snapbean were conducted with high agricultural inputs in the tropical lowlands of Taiwan. None of the intercrops were able to reach monetary returns of the high density sole cropping treatments.

  2. Intercropping chili peppers with maize
    For reducing virus infection and for improving productivity we intercropped chilli pepper with maize in southern Taiwan. Intercrop treatments were effective in reducing spread of virus in pepper plants but led to reduction of overall pepper yields.
